Bought this to replace an absolutely dreadful Bertazonni gas range that crapped out after less than two years. I decided to give induction cooking a whirl (instead of buying a dual fuel range). My home is completely solar powered and my air purifiers were kicking in anytime I used my old gas range. WOW. I had no idea how efficient induction cooking is! And cleanup is so easy. I will save all of my gas cooking for grilling outside in the future. The electric oven, which is the true reason I bought this range, is flawless. The oven racks slide elegantly (the range comes with a telescoping rack). The oven temps seem to be perfectly calibrated. All of the baking I've done so far has been perfect (recipe temps and times line up with the oven's capabilities). I love this electric range more than I expected to. My only complaint is that the dials are difficult to read without bending over to look at which dial corresponds with which function.

After a few years of consideration and ~1mo of use, I have no regrets replacing a vintage gas range with this induction range. It is intuituve to use and the induction cooktop is very responsive. It fits very nicely in my existing 36" space. The design is aesthetically pleasing and the smooth cooktop easy to clean. I feel inspired to cook with it! I have made several loaves of sourdough bread, pasta bake, cookies, and lots of veggies/meat on the cooktop.
I would give 5/5, except the oven fan is a bit loud and I was spoiled because my vintage range had built-in storage and a cooling rack -- I wish modern ranges had these. I'm glad I made the switch, nonetheless. I feel safer without the open flame/fire hazard + chemical hazards of natural gas in my kitchen.

I recently purchased the 36-inch induction stove from Bosch, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my decision! From the moment I unboxed it, the sleek design and modern aesthetics caught my eye. What truly sets this induction stove apart is its incredible performance. The heating is rapid and precise, allowing me to boil water in mere minutes and simmer sauces to perfection. Indian cooking is complex and requires different temperatures when making gravies, and Bosch gave me the ability to change the temperature to the point where I could make complex dishes such as butter chicken, halwa, as well as dry curries. The best part is to be able to make Tea/ chai in less than five minutes. I was worried about being able to make chapaties as fluffy as I did on previous gas stove but Bosch did not let me down there either. Each cooking zone heats evenly, which has elevated my cooking experience significantly. I also appreciate the intuitive touch controls-navigating through settings feels effortless.
The safety features are commendable, too. The stove cools down quickly, and the automatic shut-off gives me peace of mind, knowing that I'm cooking safely. Plus, the built-in timer has become a game changer for multitasking in the kitchen.

Induction cooking is as responsive as gas but much less messy and no risk of fumes. The display for cooking level on each burner is easy to read. Cook top is roomy allowing for 5 good sized pans.
Oven performance also great. The full extension rack glides make pulling an item out of the oven easy and friction free.
My wife and I both are happy with this range.

This is a great range. Looks good, works great, as advertised. I read a bunch of reviews of this range and found Complaint #1 was a loud oven fan. I found the oven fan sound to be the same my last high end oven, so "Loud?", no I don't find it so. And complaint #2 was hard to read control knobs. There's 3 knobs both sides of the monitor. Once you use them and realize they are in a very intuitive layout then no problem - right vs left knobs, front vs back burners.

Display for burners in use and temp avoids having to look at the control knobs. Display also shows when a pan is on a burner but burner is not on. Oven trays are very heavy duty and slide out glides easy to use.

We bought this about a month ago. It is even more stunning in person than how it looks online! It works really well so far. The induction top heats things up so so quickly. As far as people complaining about the fan noise from the oven vent in the reviews, you need to get a grip. It's an oven - it's going to fan when it gets hot. Yes, you can hear it but it's not excessive. And, I find that the vent noise is drowned out completely by the overhead hood vent anyway.
Going to use the included thermometer for the first time on Christmas Eve for a 6lb tenderloin - let's see how it goes!

The cook top extends beyond the range body, so the control buttons are under that overhang and cannot be read unless you stand away from the range and bend to look at them. The oven button when turned to select a mode I.e. convection, bake, broil, etc, doesn't display on the screen only some lines or a temperature display, so you have to bend awkwardly to view the button while selecting the mode and then use the display to set the temp and timer. Also, the buttons for the cooktop operation do display on the cooktop digital display but don't show any indicator for which burner you are controlling.

We're really happy with our new range and are liking induction, which is new to us. Minor gripe: I wish there was a third shelf in the oven and that all shelves were telescopic, rather than just the one. Also, it is a bit annoying that the settings on the oven controls aren't shown on the stovetop display, especially as the various settings are pretty hard to read on the knob itself! This would be worth an upgrade as it's not very user-friendly. But over all, this is a wonderful appliance.

We are absolutely blown away with the performance of our induction cooktop. We bought Hexclad cookware to use with our new range and the two work well with each other. There is a little learning curve involved with the induction because the heating is so fast and efficient. To see water start to boil in 30 seconds is amazing. Also the free standing range is very handsome in our newly remodeled kitchen. We get a lot of compliments on it. Also, the oven cooks very evenly. No hot spots. We're happy we purchased it.

The 5 cooking areas heat up fast and are very responsive. Water boils super fast! However, the oven is terrible. It takes a long time to pre-heat, is super loud with the fan, and since it takes forever to cool down, that liud fan stays on for longer than needed. Also, at one point the fan wouldn't stop spinning, and the tech support took FoUR months to try to fix. That meant I could not use my range for 4 months! Then my warranty expired and Bosch.had to replace the entire.appliance. But it took many many phone calls, case initiation, and arguing with customer service. Insufficient tech support and unhelpful customer service. 4 stars for the range top, 0 stars for everything else.

We built a new home, decided on high end appliances and went with all Bosch - refrigerator, dishwasher, and range. It turned out to be a great move especially the induction range. This is not your mother's stove. The induction stovetop heats up and cooks very quickly. When the burner is turned off, it is cool to the touch in seconds (a great safety feature especially with children). The oven's temperature is very accurate and also cooks with less time. It is also cost efficient using less electricity than traditional electric ranges. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

The writing on the burner and oven knobs is almost impossible to read. At least for the burners you can see a reading on the induction top, but the oven does not display on the cooktop. Also the small stainless steel strip between the cooktop glass and the front display is impossible to clean. very tight space

I absolutely love my new range. I've wanted one for years and finally remodeled our kitchen so I have it. I love the ease of cooking on induction cook tops. An added bonus is the boost that helps heat up the pan quicker. The oven is plenty big and have no issue with it either. My only suggestion is to make the cooktop more acratch resistant.

Purchased this range new in May of 2025. It was shipped broken from the factory, not heating when turned on. Two 4+ hour service appointments spread across 6 weeks (because the service network is so overloaded, that's the quickest they could respond) where every board, sensor, and switch was replaced to no avail. The tech finally confirms I need a replacement unit. Bosch decides that, to replace the unit they sold me as broken, I need to go through a "manager approval" requiring me to send in more documentation - as if the tech's diagnosis wasn't good enough? I've literally never used the unit...it's brand new. Now mid July, still without a working stove, and Bosch decides that it does indeed qualify for a replacement. To find this out, I had to call in and wait on a 30 minute hold. Here's the kicker - they have no ETA on when I'll get a new unit. Can't even say days versus weeks versus months...just that it's "backordered". The real cherry on top was the rudeness of the customer service folks who cut me off on the phone then raised their voice when I asked why they couldn't zero in on an ETA. I'm at a complete loss for what to do here. I can't cook for my family. The right thing to do would be to reimburse me for this disaster and get the range out of my home. At this point, the only recourse I have is yelling into the void on reviews, being loud on X, and pinging Bosch execs directly on LinkedIn. They really ruined the fun of new appliances. My advice to you, reader and prospect customer, is to not buy this unit or do any other business with Bosch. They will leave you high and dry, holding the bag on expensive appliances that don't work then tell you they don't have to make it right. I truly feel like Bosch stole six thousand dollars from me so, needless to say, I'll never ever do business with them again and will happily tell everyone and anyone the same thing.

We've had the range for a month and absolutely love it! The burners heat up very quickly and evenly. The low power choices let you keep very low simmers and slow heating up of dishes very controlled. No more burning to the bottom of the pot. Oven bakes nicely and I love all the oven heating options.
I had been a reluctant induction adoptee but when our other range broke, I decided it was time to get over my hesitation. I love it now! Total convert!

This range looks great. It looks like a professional range. The induction cooktop works flawlessly. The oven has good capacity and maintains temperature well. My only complaints are the exhaust fan is extremely noisy and the timer volume is way,way too low.

I have used this oven a total of 3 times in the 10 months I've had it. The oven stopped working (the second time) on April 15. But service availability was dismal. I had to wait several weeks for a diagnostic visit. Once the technician visited, it was determined the oven needed parts. But they were 2.5 months out on back order. So Customer Service indicated that I could request a replacement. I did as they asked, sent an email with documentation. Three weeks later, it turns out my request was never sent to the correct department. Called Customer Service again, and a week later, apparently insufficient information was provided to management from the Customer Service agent. A week later, an email was sent with a service visit appointment. So I took a day off of work. On the day of the appointment, I called Customer Service to ask about a more specific time that the technician would arrive. And apparently he was out sick, but no one told me. I wasted a day waiting. So in total, this range has been broken for 5 weeks. No replacement is in the works. I don't know when I will have a working range. DO NOT BUY.

Love my range! From slow cooking soups to desserts to roasting veggies or simple daily use, the quality and experience of cooking is fabulous. The cooktop is easy to use and easy to clean. Even with daily use, the range is easy to maintain. I considered upgrading the range's feet but i am very happy with the feet that are included. I have only 2 nit picky items of feedback: the dial to select oven mode is hard to read + the ventilation/cooling fan runs a bit more than I'd like. Even with those, I'd buy this range again in a heartbeat and look forward to using it for decades to come!

I love this oven! It started off a little rocky with a minor glitch with the oven screen. Having done all the troubleshooting I did call and had a certified technician come out. After checking the unit and conversing with Bosch directly, everything is up and working properly.
The induction top works great (love that boost for boiling water), and the oven heats evenly and is very efficient.
I had seen comments about the unit being noisy. To address those comments I can say there is a very minor buzz between the induction top and the pots and pans. Also, read the exhaust fan is noisy. It's not! If you have ever used an exhaust hood, then you know noisy. The fan for the oven comes nowhere near the noise of an exhaust hood.
I love the telescoping shelf hardware (actually ordered a 2nd set of hardware for the other shelf).
Overall, I am so happy with this oven!

I like the safety of the induction range. It has taken some time (and some burnt food) to get used to the speed and heat of the burners! I struggle with the oven and without being able to self-clean. I've now spent hours on hands and knees trying to scrub up burnt on dripping pizza from the bottom. In addition, the oven takes a long time to heat up and the fan is loud. Leaving the door open after turning the oven off lets it cool off faster and the fan stop sooner. So, that helps a bit. Overall, we really like it, but do have some issues.

I love the my decision after many months of research after finding out I could not put a gas stove in my house. I purchased this stove and while the place I purchased it from stored it, the stove got damaged and Bosch agreed to replace it. Then apon the second attempt for delivery the oven door was busted and Bosch replaced that. The 3rd attempt of delivery the strove arrived with a scratch up handle but at this point I just wanted my stove. The main reason I gave it a 4 stars and not a 5 stars is because the writing on the knobs is very hard to see. They are a bit tucked under the front lip on the stove and light does not get to them very well. I have to get a flash light out to read the knob for the oven. The rest of the knobs are displayed on the stove top it's self when on. The instructions say you can not use protection pads on the glass or a liner in the oven. I have had mine for 2 months now and cook a lot. I have splatter spots in my oven that do not remove with soap and water or baking soda.

The project was completed when this professional free standing stove arrived. Like our Bosch dishwasher the results are stunning with fast and efficient induction cooking. The design of this Steve includes a sleek multi powered cooking surface that accommodates any size pans. The oven utilizes a convection option for baking and the sliding pullout shelves are the best. Nice design and excellent functionality. I'm now a huge fan of induction cooking though was initially sorry to lose my gas range. No looking back! I like the sensitivity, being able to combine zones to use a griddle, and the easy clean-up. The oven cavity is a great size and best of all, it's calibrated perfectly for baking. (Compared to a competitor's oven that would not get to set temperature; they could never fix it!) Looks great in our kitchen alongside Bosch dishwashers.

Title says enough. Some folks have complained about not being able to see the writing on the knobs. After you know which knob controls which burner, you see the heat level on the top of the stove; thus you don't need to look at the knobs.

In this day and age (and at this price point), I was surprised to find out the Bosch HIS8655U Induction Range has no wifi, no app, no smart ANYTHING. When the power goes out, you even have to set the clock.

The range arrived non-functioning and required 3 service visits only to eventually require a complete replacement. After several weeks of that process, we used the oven and found it to have a surprisingly noisy fan that has established a vibration/rattle over the last 2 uses. The cooktop has been flawless. So, it looks great and the induction works fine but I find myself looking to use my air fryer rather than turn on the oven because of the expectation that we will get more noise than we want.
